Dapples are so freakin annoying!!!! i'm so glad this wasn't bigger. i'd take drawing an appaloosa over this any day!

Conte' Crayons and Colored Pencil on toned paper.
this is comparatively small, 11 inches by 8 1/2 inches.
it lost some of the effects of the conte' in the photographic process. The background is more silvery and shiny than it appears. well, that's why art is almost always better in person.
i'd say this took a total of 10 hours, but i'm probably over exaggerating
